However I was informed of a birthday dinner for my Granny Brown. It was kind of already planned but I didn't get clued in until Saturday afternoon. Who can miss their grandmother's birthday dinner when she is already expecting you? So the lazy Sunday plans were scrapped!
Any how, when I got home I was expecting to have to wash clothes and clean house but instead I found that hubby had already done it for me. How great is he? Then when it came time for supper he says to me "you go relax, I'll cook tonight". How sweet!! I didn't let him though. Instead I made his current favorite dinner....grilled hoggies and potatoe ribbons. Simple but affective...lol
Thank God for Justin Bishop!!!!!

How sweet! What exactly are grilled hoagies and potato ribbons? I'm curious...plus I'm always looking for new "quick and easy" recipes! :)
ReplyDeleteI chop up deli meat and throw it on the grittle. I then butter the hoggie buns and put them on there too. The meat goes on the bun with lots o' melted cheese. I add what ever fixins ya please. (I put sauteed onions on mine).
ReplyDeleteWe have a little potatoe tool that cuts a whole potato into a curly ribbon. I just toss the ribbons in the fry daddy and add salt. Not low in fat but good :)
you can use low fat mayo, cheese and butter for a healthier version. Add of course toss the fried taters and just have chips :). i do that too.
Jus is setting high standards!!! Oh, and did ya'll shop around for counter tops at Cabinets Direct?????? Yoiu know the hubby sells those too...and you might just get the friend discount.
ReplyDeleteNo we looked at Lowes, everything else is closed on Saturday. Justin may have to talk with Adam Saturday night ;)We need all the help we can get.
