I have also thought about six of so rocking chairs lined up on the front porch, like cracker barrel. However I have some stuff out there already but it is rusted. I may just cover it with RustOleum, paint it black and throw some new cushions on it...... its the cheaper way to go so I'd say that is what will happen :)

I know you probably don't want to do this, but if you wait till around August next year you can get some really snazzy outdoor items on sale. We got our patio table at Lowe's a couple of years ago at the end of the season and it was 50-60% off.
ReplyDeleteIf you like to stand out from the crowd, you can find some unusual wrought iron door ironmongery but do be careful, as a design that is too wacky may become tiresome after a short while and you may wish that you had picked something more subdued. A well-made, classic, understated design will stand the test of time.
